SATS Grammar Revision

 
 
 
VERBS:  Verbs are doing words or being words. Eg:
 
John kicked the ball.     (Kicked is the verb)
 
John is happy.  (Is, is the verb)
 
John had a good time.  (Had is the verb)


ADVERBS:

Adverbs describes a verb and it normally ends in ly Eg: I ran slowly. (slowly is the adverb)
