Battle of Bosworth
The battle was between King Richard III and Henry Tudor. They were
represented by roses; Richard was the white rose and Henry was the
red rose. Richard was the house of York and Henry was the house of
Lancaster. Richard had 10,000 men and Henry had 1500 French
soldiers along with 500 followers. The battle started in 1485 and
ended with Richard dying by one of Henry's soldiers. Henry
became the new king of England. He changed his name from Henry
Tudor to King Henry 7.
